Lawton Public Schools
Lawton Public Schools consists of 3 High Schools, 4 Jr. High Schools and 28 Elementary Schools. The current student enrollment is approximately 32,922 with 1,099 certified teachers.  Click here to visit the LPS website.
 
Cameron University
Cameron University in Lawton is the only university in the state accredited to offer Associate, Bachelors and Masters degree programs on the same campus. There are 5,589 students currently enrolled. A superior distance learning capability has been developed including online degrees in many disciplines. The Center for Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurial Studies
CETES is a comprehensive program that is available for entrepreneurs throughout Southwest Oklahoma. CETES will become a catalyst for the development and growth of technology based companies, contribute to the creation of skilled employment opportunities, and prepare people to become effective contributors to the 21st century economy of Oklahoma. The center opened in 2005 on the campus of Cameron University, will use state-of-the-art technology and expert faculty to provide support services and develop a trained workforce for fledgling companies.

CETES has two broad components, a business incubator that provides direct assistance to entrepreneurs, and an academic program that will produce highly skilled individuals ready to tackle the challenges of the new information economy. The CETES business incubator will nurture technology-oriented start-up companies. It will support these companies by providing the expertise and support they need to grow, giving them the resources that will allow them to develop their products, and introducing them to angel and venture capital networks who will invest in theses new opportunities. Great Plains Technology Center
Oklahoma has long been recognized as having a premier career and technology education system. Many educators and site locators consider the system to be the best in the nation. Great Plains Technology Center and the Economic Development Center have campuses located in Lawton and Fredrick, Oklahoma, to support the needs of employers in Southwest Oklahoma. GP Tech and the EDC can provide specialized training that will be custom designed and delivered to the specifications of your company by certified trainers who will study your company's processes, teach it to your new employees, and certify their training competency. These services are provided at NO COST to qualifying companies. Optionally, the company may choose to use it's own employees to train new hires and receive reimbursement for their cost.

Webster University at Fort Sill
Webster University at Fort Sill, located in the Harry S. Truman Education Center, Building 3281, offers Masters of Arts degrees in Human Resource Management, Management, and Computer Resources and Information Management.  Students include open active duty and retired military personnel, their spouses and children; civilians employed on base or by the Department of Defense, reservists, citizens of Lawton/Fort Sill, Sheppard AFB, and Altus AFB. Class sizes are small and taught by faculty who are leaders and professionals from business, industry and government.
